Here at Astonishing Touch Adult Day Center we'll be providing care that goes beyond industry standards.
Astonishing Touch Adult Day Center L.L.C. was established in 2021 by Brittany Wadley, founder and owner of ATADC. ATADC is a locally owned and operated Adult Day Center agency located in the heart of Creve Coeur. Our Staff is licensed, certified, insured and bonded. Possessing a heart to serve Ms. Wadley has over 10 years of healthcare experience. At ATADC we pride ourselves on our commitment in providing quality services and the level of care that our clients deserve.
Astonishing Touch Adult Day Center mission is to provide day services that optimize the cognitive and physical abilities of seniors and adults with disabilities so they can remain as independent as possible.
OUR SERVICES
Day Center Services
Day centers vary tremendously in terms of services offered, price, and types of clients accepted. ATADC programs will provide:

specialized care for dementia

emotional support

mental stimulation

therapies: occupational, physical and speech

health monitoring - blood pressure, blood sugar levels, food/liquid intake, weight?
The goal of ATADC is to provide for social and medical needs, but also to enrich participant's lives through a variety of activities.
Intergenerational programs are becoming very popular because they offer a safe environment and planned activities for seniors and adults alike. ATADC creates a win-win situation for everyone. Families can maintain unison and be together in the evenings under one roof.
General Adult Day Center Services
These centers provide socialization opportunities and basic support for seniors. Many general senior day center programs require that seniors be able to swallow their medications without assistance.
There are three types of adult day centers. One offers a social setting that includes meals, recreation, and some health-related services. Another offers the same but includes more intensive health and therapeutic services. And the third day center will provide specialized care to recipients with chronic needs or diagnosed dementias or developmental disabilities.
Family members and caregivers typically select the type of center a care recipient attends based on the care needed.
Adult Day Center for those with Alzheimer's/Dementia
Day centers that specialize in Alzheimer's and dementia care employ specially trained staff. Also when offering social activities, these centers provide a level of specialized care for adults with memory problems and a propensity for wandering.
